Today, Theresa May wrote to the European Council president Donald Tusk, to trigger Article 50, and officially begin the break up of UKs relationship with Europe.
To mark this day, I considered writing a list of stuff that will probably be lost as a result, or a pondering on if Theresa May actually knows what she is doing?
Instead I figured I would share some of the highlights of how Twitter observed “Brexit Day”:
Any reactions you want to share?
That time she had a baby…
There are some questions, that I just don’t have the answer to. Thankfully I’ve not had to handle this sort of conversation yet.
But I’m not sure if I’ll have an answer for it when the time comes either.
When the 4 year old wonders out loud while watching Octonauts on CBeebies.
Its a little complicated, and not a short story, but we brought a new bike from Halfords for the Little One today.
After the fun of choosing, racing around the store, and walking out Halfords with the new bike, we took it for a test drive down on the Exeter Canal. Double Locks was the obvious place for a
cider break rest place.

Working weekends at our place means your weekend is split in two. (Which can sometimes work well). This week, it meant that we got to go on a family shopping trip into Exeter City Centre, during which we stopped for a moment in the Cathedral Green. Where I felt the Exeter Cathedral had a particularly Hogwarts style vibe going on?
Pancake Day 2017, we may have played The Pancake Day song from Maid Marian – a number of times. But we didn’t play the Pancake Day Song again.
Over a week later, at 6:40 in the morning, we get woken up with it for NO GOOD REASON.
And again this morning…
Maybe its stuck in her head?
Or perhaps, she just wants pancakes?
Hope you dont have the pancake song in your head all day…
(Oh yes, that is The Cat from Red Dwarf singing)
The trip to the family gallery took a dark turn with the last image.
I try not to simply share just loads and loads of video clips… but Bon Jovi. I never realised that the Bon Jovi song “I Got the Girl” is about his daughter.
According to The Huffington Post:
The rock star, who is currently on his band’s This House Is Not For Sale tour, performed in Las Vegas on Feb. 25. His setlist for the tour includes “I Got the Girl,” a song he wrote years ago for his daughter Stephanie Bongiovi, who is now 23. Bon Jovi sings about his “5-year-old princess” during one of the verses, which made the performance the perfect occasion for Stephanie to join her dad on stage to dance.
The performance was captured on youtube here.
