The view when we paused to watch a game of golf at the Exeter Golf and Country Club in Devon.
Anyone up for some meatballs?
I had the opportunity to lead a small photowalk the other day, walking over a (currently) disused road bridge we discussed how slightly eerie it felt wondering over this old bridge, taking us over the busy main road below.
I cant help but feel there is something about the Exeter Central train station, that makes me want to take photos of it… Maybe its the lines, or the square, or something…
I dont know about you, but April showers seemed to have been none existent this year… instead its been “May Showers”. Here’s our attempt at avoiding them…
View from the pub garden within The Imperial Pub here in Exeter.
Taken on Wednesday evening on the walk from the pub back to work… Sometimes life feels confusing…
Taken as the Little One started to take on the new play equipment at The Orange Elephant near Exeter.
Obviously after powering ourselves up on the fantastic ice cream they make there…
Its a little complicated, and not a short story, but we brought a new bike from Halfords for the Little One today.
After the fun of choosing, racing around the store, and walking out Halfords with the new bike, we took it for a test drive down on the Exeter Canal. Double Locks was the obvious place for a
cider break rest place.
Please see Tales From The Toyshelf, if you’re confused about the Lego guys.
Working weekends at our place means your weekend is split in two. (Which can sometimes work well). This week, it meant that we got to go on a family shopping trip into Exeter City Centre, during which we stopped for a moment in the Cathedral Green. Where I felt the Exeter Cathedral had a particularly Hogwarts style vibe going on?
Somebody was ridiculously happy at the sight of their ice cream earlier, while we were at Urban Burger in Exeter.
While she was happy at the ice cream, I discovered today that they do great Gluten Free rolls as well, so worth a trip for people who like burgers but cant eat “normal” bread.
So smiles all round really…
